30 years of cycling in Les Gets :
From the first French Cup in 1992 to the Mountain Bike World Championships in 2022, Les Gets has hosted high level mountain bike competitions and has developed cycling facilities for thirty years.
Today, it is the thousands of mountain bikers who come every year to experience the land of champions and their exploits, who pay tribute to the expertise of a resort that has definitely entered into mountain biking legend.

Since 2019, Les Gets is back with a vengeance on the UCI world circuit and has become THE French reference spot for world mountain biking! After the 2019 and 2021 World Cups, the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships will be held in the resort in 2022, organised jointly with the French Cycling Federation (FFC). This is a confirmation for Les Gets, which had first welcomed them in 2004, and a huge national pride to host this world event again in France!
Following the success of the previous edition, the resort is keen to make every effort to welcome the mountain bike elite once again, two years before the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
5 events are on the programme for this competition week:
- The XCO: Olympic Cross-country
- The XCR: Cross-country Relay
- The XCC: Cross-country Short Track
- The DHI: Downhill Individual
- The E-MTB (Electrically Assisted Mountain Bike)
