Getting to Les Gets

The resort of Les Gets is easily accessible. It is 55 km from Geneva international airport (1h15 drive), 25 km from the A40 motorway and 22 km from Cluses railway station. This makes it very easy to get to and from the resort, in complete safety.

Via Thonon :

– Geneva Cointrin Airport > Geneva Cornavin train station (5 trains per hour)

Getting around Les Gets during the event

Once you arrive in Les Gets, leave your car in one of the station’s car parks and move freely on foot, by mini-train, shuttle bus or GetsLib’. It couldn’t be easier to enjoy the UCI MTB World Championships !

WHERE TO PARK ?

VISITOR CAR PARKS


Les Perrières: The public car parks are located in Les Perrières (resort entrance on the TANINGES side); The free shuttle buses (line A and B) and the Perrières little train regularly pass by the stop ” 5. Perrières” to take visitors to the village centre. Public toilets and showers nearby (Perrières chairlift).

Roadside: About 100 metres upstream from the car park, the Route des Granges is one-way to allow parking on the left-hand side. Other parking spaces are available on the roadside on the Route des Grandes Alpes, the Rue du Front de neige and the top of Chavannes.

Top of Chavannes: Car parks is also available on the top of Chavannes, in the existing parking spaces and on the roadside. The free shuttle (line A) runs regularly nearby at the stop “18. Les Chavannes”. The Chavannes cable car provides free access to this area during the weekend. Sanitary facilities are available nearby (TC Chavannes).

CAMPER VAN PARKING

The parking area exclusively reserved for motorhomes is located at Les Perrières. There are 60 places available, without advance booking possible. Public toilets and showers are available nearby (Les Perrières chairlift), as well as a Flot bleu terminal. The free shuttle buses (line A and B) and the small train of Les Perrières regularly pass by at the stop “5. Park. Perrières”.
A Flot Bleue terminal is located nearby (see map). Payment at the terminal can be made by credit card (emptying, running water).

FREE SHUTTLES

Shuttles in Les Gets

The two regular lines A and B serve the village and its hamlets 7 days a week from 8.45am to 7pm (with a one hour break for lunch). Rotation every 45 mn.

🚌 Where is the bus? Shuttles can be located in real time on the PYSAE application. As the “classic” timetables cannot be respected during the event, we strongly advise you to use PYSAE to know where they are.

Stops not served:

During the event, the routes of the shuttle and tourist train lines are modified:

❌ Stops “8. Grange neuve”, “9. TC Chavannes” and “1. TC Mt-Chéry” will not be served
✅ A new stop is created at the bus station on the Route des Grande Alpes to serve the village centre.

Shuttle Les Gets < > Morzine

From Friday 26th to Sunday 28th August included, a free shuttle will run non-stop from a car park in Morzine and a stop in the centre of Morzine to Les Gets (different times each day). In Les Gets the shuttle bus will stop at the Colombière roundabout at the Morzine entrance to the village (see village map).

FREE LITTLE TRAINS

The little tourist train
A fun and original way to get to the Lac des écoles leisure centre. It runs every day except Saturday from 10.30am to 1pm and from 2pm to 6pm. Rotation every 30 minutes or so.

The Perrières little train
During the event, a second small train runs non-stop between the Perrières car park and the bus station in the centre of the village. Rotation every 15 minutes or so.

GET AROUND IN GETSLIB’

Getslib’ are self-service electrically assisted bicycles available 7 days a week and accessible after registering online at lesgets.com/getslib

Please note: Getslib’ are forbidden to under 15 years old and it is not possible to pick up Getslib’ bikes between 9pm and 7am. The first½ hour is free, then €1 every 30 minutes.
